About the Camp

Camp Thunderbird is located in the beautiful Gila National Forest. It is 36 miles from Silver City and is close to other attractions, such as the Gila Cliff dwellings, Lake Roberts and the City of Rocks state park.   Our family has reserved the entire camp for the reunion. We have access to the lodge and kitchen, 2 bathhouses with hot showers, 3 shared group cabins and spaces for RV's and tent camping. Recreational facilities include a fire circle, basketball court, walking trails, horseshoes, and room to hike in the forest. 

Camp Amenities

The shared cabins have bunk beds; you will need to provide your own bedding or sleeping bag. You will also need to provide your own towels, and toiletries.
